Dholera SIR
Dholera Industrial City Development Ltd is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) formed as a Joint Venture by Government of Gujarat through the Dholera Special Investment Regional Development Authority and Government of India through the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (erstwhile DMIC Project Implementation Trust Fund.)
City Level SPV formed – Dholera Industrial City Development Limited (DICDL).
The SPV was formed on 28 January 2016 for the development of Dholera SIR, with the equity participation as under:

For the development of Dholera SIR, the Government of India (through NICDC Trust) and the Government of Gujarat (through DSIRDA) formed a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) called ‘Dholera Industrial City Development Ltd.’ (DICDL) on Jan 28, 2016. The SPV is made up of a 51% stake of the Government of Gujarat through DSIRDA and a 49% stake of the Government of India through NICDC Trust.
NICDC – National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation LTD
National Industrial Corridor Development Programme is India’s most ambitious infrastructure programme aiming to develop new industrial cities as “Smart Cities” and converging next generation technologies across infrastructure sectors.
Govt. of India is developing various Industrial Corridor Projects as part of National Industrial Corridor programme which is aimed at development of futuristic industrial cities in India which can compete with the best manufacturing and investment destinations in the world. The same will create employment opportunities and economic growth leading to overall socio-economic development.
11 Industrial Corridors Projects are being taken up for development with 30 Projects to be developed in 04 phases up to 2024-25:
Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (DMICDC) Limited, a special purpose company, was incorporated to establish, promote and facilitate development of Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Project.
Further, after announcement of other Industrial Corridor Projects, the mandate of DMICDC Ltd. has been expanded to develop and implement all Industrial Corridor Projects in the country and accordingly, the name has been changed to National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) Limited.
NICDC undertakes various Project Development activities like Preparation of Master Plans, Feasibility Reports, Detailed Project Reports etc. and acts as an intermediary for the purpose of development and establishment of infrastructure projects through developing and disseminating appropriate financial instruments, negotiating loans and advances of all nature, and formulating schemes for mobilization of resources and extension of credit for infrastructure.
